Luis J Roadshow was started in 1978 by Glenn Baxter. Glenn started DJ-ing when he was still at school and mainly did youth club parties and birthday parties for friends and neighbours. Throughout the 20-odd years he's worked as a DJ he's had the opportunity to play to many different crowds across the UK and abroad including spending 2 years working in Gibraltar as a DJ in the Gibraltar Beach Hotel.

With this experience in the entertainments industry, Luis J Roadshow can provide a efficient and reliable service for your function. We can be sure to make your event special and one of the ways we do this is by giving you the option to submit your own play list so all your favourite tracks will be played on the night. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we use feedback forms to keep track of what our clients like about our services and where we may be able to make improvements.

We run a superb stereo sound system providing high quality audio at the volume you desire, whether it be to provide a nightclub atmosphere or at a quieter level for less lively affairs. By using quality systems we are able to produce a crystal clear sound that doesn't leave your ears ringing at the end of the night!

All our equipment is checked and maintained regularly to prevent failure and ensure it is safe to use - we have our equipment tested each year for electrical safety. In certain venues this is a legal requirement for any service provider to have, and it provides peace of mind for us and our clients. Our systems are regularly updated in order to keep up with the latest advancements in technology.

Our lighting system is second to none, with a wide range of effects to suit any occasion. We use modern coloured lighting similar to that used in nightclubs. Although we have many different effects, if we don't have what you want it can easily be sourced, whether it be subtle mood lighting or a complete laser show.

Karaoke

We have recently invested in a computer based Karaoke system, which has around 3000 tracks ranging from the 1950s to present day artists, so why not hire a great Karaoke show and you can be the star of the show!
